LOBSTER LAKE CANOE TRIP
A true Maine hidden treasure, Lobster Lake offers an excellent opportunity for young or beginning paddlers to learn new skills, outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy an exceptional piece of Maine's wilderness, and for fisherman to catch some of the northeast's finest brook trout! The scenery from Lobster Lake is breathtaking, especially the views of Big Spencer Mountain, and the remoteness of the lake makes for a peaceful experience.

On this trip we'll paddle from Lobster Stream to a lakeside campsite (most with beautiful sandy beaches) on Lobster Lake and either stay all three nights in one spot, eliminating the need to pack up and paddle to a different location each night, or paddle to a new campsite each day. Each day we will choose to either paddle to the farthest reaches of the lake, hike Lobster Mountain, or just relax, swim, fish and search for wildlife.

This is typically a 3 night/4 day trip. It has some stream paddling but is mostly a flat water trip. A great 3-season trip, Lobster Lake is one of a kind.
