The ultimate Baxter Park trip, which includes a summit climb of Katahdin! This is a 3 night backpacking trip to one of the most striking viewpoints Maine. A trip that offers the hiker many opportunities for exploration and challenge. Toughest reservations to get in the state!
3 or 4 NIGHT RUSSELL POND/WASSATAQUOIK LAKE BACKPACKING TRIP

Three nights in Baxter Park's most remote campground, a 7.6 mile hike into the interior of the park. A fantastic area for viewing moose & fly fishing for brook trout!
4 NIGHT FREEZEOUT TRAIL BACKPACKING TRIP
​
An easy to moderate loop trial hike along several bodies of water in the most northern end of Baxter Park. A good portion of the trail follows old logging tote roads. It would be difficult to find more solitude anywhere else in Baxter park.
3 NIGHT FAMILY CAMPING TRIP TO SOUTH BRANCH POND
​
A wonderful setting at South Branch Pond, in the northern park of Baxter Park. Plenty of time for canoeing, day hiking, fishing, relaxing!
